 The Quality and Development Centre can supply a range of services both through local facilities and by utilising the new ADM European Research Centre in Hamburg Our margarine processing plant, based in the UK can provide you with samples of cake margarines, shortenings, puff pastry laminating fats, coatings etc from one kg to one hundred kilogram quantity. We can also supply other novel blends specially formulated to meet your requirements and specifications. We have a test kitchen and full baking facility for development and quality control testing of oils and fats in a wide variety of bakery and frying applications. Through our new European research facility in Hamburg, we can also carry out state of the art analysis and development, using the latest analytical techniques and pilot plant equipment. We can refine oils on pilot and laboratory scales, pilot process margarines and shortenings and carry out a number of other experiments to provide you with the best possible solutions for your industry. |

Role of the QDC - Support to the main production facilities at Purfleet and Erith. Particular focus is on Quality Assurance - ensuring that all raw materials, finished products and minor ingredients are of the quality required to meet and exceed customer requirements. - New Product Development. The center works closely with the commercial division in developing new products for internal development and with our customers in support of their own NPD projects. - Research. The QDC has links with several institutions for both legal and emerging issues this information forming part of our communication with our customers. |
